The entire Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leadership, including its top leaders, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former Bihar minister Mansoor Alam, who was regarded as an important voice in the state’s politics. Leaders described his passing as an irreparable loss to both Bihar’s political landscape and the socialist movement.
RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Member of Parliament Misa Bharti, along with several senior leaders, jointly expressed their condolences. They said that the demise of Mansoor Alam is a significant loss to Bihar’s politics. They highlighted that he consistently stood as a voice for the poor, marginalized, and common people, and remained committed to the development of the Seemanchal region.
In their condolence message, RJD leaders stated that Mansoor Alam’s life was dedicated to socialist values, and throughout his political career, he prioritized issues of public welfare. His passing, they added, is also a major setback to the socialist movement.
State president Mangani Lal Mandal, national vice president Jagdanand Singh, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Kanti Singh, Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav, and Manoj Kumar Jha also expressed grief and prayed for peace for the departed soul.
In the statement issued by state spokesperson Ejaz Ahmad, the party prayed that the late Mansoor Alam attains the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus and that his family is given strength and patience during this difficult time. The statement concluded that his absence will be deeply felt for a long time, and his contributions will always be remembered.
