“Step back in the time with the magic of Retro Hindi Cinema “

Patna (Akmal Hoda/Insaaf Times) The University Film Club recently organized a film festival named “Retro Hindi Cinema,” which showcased some of the most iconic Bollywood movies of all time. The festival started on 27th February and continued till 3rd March 2023. The festival was a major hit, drawing film enthusiasts and Bollywood fans from all over the city.

Dr. Meraj Ahmed Mubarki, the president of the University Film Club, discussed the films screened during the festival. He shared his insights on the cinematic elements and themes of each movie, providing a deeper understanding of the art and craft of Hindi cinema.

The festival included a lineup of some of the most classic and popular Bollywood films, such as “Mother India,” “Naya Daur,” “Sholay,” “Masoom,” and “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro.” These movies are not only considered some of the best Hindi films ever made but also have a significant place in the history of Indian cinema.
