A new political development unfolded in Bihar on Saturday as Torab Niazi, a young leader from Rohtas district and former state president of Yuva Shakti Bihar, joined the Jan Suraaj Party along with hundreds of his supporters. The induction ceremony was held at Sheikhpura House in Patna, where Prashant Kishor welcomed Niazi and described him as an important addition to the Jan Suraaj family.

Torab Niazi’s mother currently serves as the Chairperson of the Rohtas Nagar Parishad, and the family holds strong political influence in the region. Niazi is particularly regarded as an influential leader among Muslim youth and has been actively engaged in social and political issues for several years.

Speaking after Niazi’s induction, Prashant Kishor said “Today, Jan Suraaj has gained new energy. With the inclusion of young leaders like Torab Niazi, our movement will become stronger. Real change in Bihar will come only when every community stands united for its rightful share.”

On this occasion, Torab Niazi praised Prashant Kishor’s vision, stating “We have always supported Prashant Kishor and his principles. The idea of ‘Jiski jitni sankhya, uski utni hissedari’ (representation in proportion to population) is the true foundation of social justice and equality. We will move forward with this vision to chart a new course of equality and justice in Bihar.”

Niazi further added that he would take an active role in Prashant Kishor’s ‘Bihar Vyavastha Parivartan’ (System Change in Bihar) campaign and work to expand Jan Suraaj’s reach across villages in the state, Together, we will give Bihar a new identity and a new direction,”

The event was attended by several prominent leaders, including Kishor Kumar Munna, Rambali Chandravanshi, and Subhash Kushwaha, who collectively called for unity in working toward social and political reforms in Bihar.
