Swami Chaitanyanand Arrested from Agra for Exploiting Delhi Students; Faces Serious Allegations from 17 Students

Insaaf Times Desk

Delhi Police on Sunday arrested Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati, also known as Parth Sarathi, from Agra. He faces allegations of sexual harassment and physical exploitation of 17 female students enrolled in the Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program at the Shri Sharda Institute of Indian Management and Research in the capital.

According to police, Chaitanyanand used to summon students to his room at night, threatening to lower their grades or fail them, and sexually exploit them. Investigations also revealed that he collaborated with three female wardens of the institute to delete evidence of obscene messages sent and received via students’ mobile phones and WhatsApp chats. The exploitation incidents are documented in nearly 50 students’ phones and chat records spanning 16 years.

The accused allegedly tried to evade arrest by hiding at multiple locations and even created fake passports and documents to conceal his identity. Authorities also recovered a red luxury Volvo car from him, bearing a fake United Nations (UN) logo. The police have seized the DVR for forensic examination.

Police have also arrested an associate of Chaitanyanand, Hari Singh, from Uttarakhand. Hari Singh is accused of threatening a victim’s father to pressure him into withdrawing the case.

Delhi Police have sent Chaitanyanand to five days of police custody. Officials stated that the investigation will also focus on the administrative and security aspects of the entire case.

This case highlights not only the severity of sexual harassment but also raises serious questions about safety and administrative accountability within educational institutions.
