Samastipur: Tejashwi Yadav Makes Major Announcements During ‘Bihar Adhikar Yatra’, Promises to Make Rosra a District

In a massive public rally held Friday evening at Jitwarpur College Grounds in Samastipur district, Bihar, Opposition Leader Tejashwi Yadav sharply criticized the current state government as part of his ongoing ‘Bihar Adhikar Yatra’. He highlighted pressing issues such as unemployment, inflation, corruption, farmers’ distress, and women’s safety.

Addressing the crowd at Tower Chowk in Rosra, Tejashwi said, “I may be young in politics, but I am not inexperienced.” He promised that if his party comes to power, Rosra will be made a separate district. He further assured that his government would provide employment to youth, security for women, and dignity to farmers.

Tejashwi attacked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, claiming he is “tired and keeps flip-flopping.” He also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, saying they establish industries in Gujarat but only seek votes in Bihar.

Appealing to the public, Tejashwi declared, “Enough of Nitish in 2025; Bihar now wants change.” He vowed that his government would set up industries and factories across the state, generating employment opportunities.

The rally saw a grand welcome for Tejashwi. Local MLA and Bihar Assembly Chief Whip Akhtarul Islam Shaheen received him with 750 bikes and 25 horses from Kewas Lakkhi Chowk. At Jitwarpur Chowk, a dozen JCB machines showered flowers over him. The event was chaired by RJD district president Roma Bharti, with Shaheen managing proceedings.

In Rosra, Tejashwi was honored with a silver crown by local leader Kari Soheb. He reiterated that his government would ensure employment for all youth.

RJD district president Roma Bharti stated that the “end of Nitish government has begun” and claimed that after the upcoming assembly elections, a Mahagathbandhan government led by Tejashwi Yadav would come to power. District RJD spokesperson Rakesh Kumar Thakur added that the people of Bihar see Tejashwi as their future.

Tejashwi Yadav’s ‘Bihar Adhikar Yatra’ could prove to be a significant turning point in state politics, potentially strengthening the Mahagathbandhan ahead of the assembly elections.

The BJP and JD(U) have dismissed the yatra as mere election propaganda, alleging that it lacks participation from the general public and includes mainly those seeking election tickets.

This yatra is expected to further heat up the political atmosphere ahead of the Bihar assembly elections.
