Bihar politics has once again witnessed heightened activity over public issues. The Jan Suraaj Party has launched a front against the state government over five major public concerns, including the Pandav Kumar murder case. A high-level delegation of the party is set to meet Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary soon and will demand justice for the victim’s family, a fair investigation, and immediate financial assistance.

In a press conference held on Monday at the party’s state office in Patliputra, State President Manoj Bharti said that the recent murder of Pandav Kumar in Delhi has not only shocked Bihar but has also caused deep anger and concern among Biharis living across the country and abroad. He raised the question: “Has being a Bihari now become a crime?”

Manoj Bharti alleged that despite the seriousness of the incident, the Bihar government has not yet provided any financial or administrative assistance to the victim’s family. He termed the situation unfortunate and said that the government must formulate a clear and effective relief policy for Biharis working outside the state.

He further stated that the Jan Suraaj Party has decided to raise this issue along with four other key public concerns before the government. The delegation will meet the Chief Minister not only to demand a fair investigation into the Pandav Kumar murder case but also to push for strict action against the accused and appropriate compensation for the victim’s family.

Former MLA Kishore Kumar said that considering the seriousness of the matter, a seven-member delegation of the party will soon meet the Chief Minister and apprise him of the entire situation, demanding swift action. He added that this is not just a criminal case, but a larger issue related to the safety and dignity of Biharis working outside the state.

Party spokespersons Vivek Kumar, Sonali Anand, Rakesh Patel, and JP Singh were also present during the press conference. All leaders unanimously demanded that the government formulate a strong policy for victim families and expedite the justice process.

Following this initiative by the Jan Suraaj Party, the issue is expected to spark a fresh political debate in the state, and all eyes are now on the upcoming meeting with the Chief Minister.
