NWF raises concerns over narrow-minded Education Policies

Cancellation of Safoora’s admission in JMI is an attempt to disrupt her education. Despite three COVID waves, pregnancy, jail term and severe COVID infections in the family, she completed the fieldwork for her M. Phil, but she is being denied admission to submit her thesis. This is totally against the code of conduct of any institution. Similar things happened to our sisters in the south as well. They were prevented from attending the exam due to the hijab controversy. The motive of the forces behind the denial of rights is to deprive us of education. They want to see us as illiterate so that no one would raise their voice against the fascist government. National Women’s Front condemns this atrocious behaviour of the University. We demand that Safoora be given rightful admission and be allowed to pursue her education.
