Gulf War: “Iran’s Unprecedented Attacks Unacceptable: Strong Message from Bahrain’s King Hamad, Strikes on Oil Refinery and Water Plant, Gulf Tensions at Peak”

Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has strongly condemned Iran’s “unprecedented attacks” on Bahrain and other Arab countries, stating that such actions cannot be justified under any pretext.

In his address, King Hamad said the assaults on Bahrain and its “brotherly Arab nations” pose a serious threat to regional peace and stability. He emphasized that no political or military rationale can legitimize these actions.

Missile and Drone Strikes Raise Security Concerns

Since the end of February, Iran has launched multiple missile and drone attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf nations. Iran has described these operations as a response to U.S. and Israeli military actions.

Reports indicate that explosions have been heard multiple times in Bahrain’s capital Manama and surrounding areas. The country’s air defense systems claim to have intercepted dozens of missiles and drones.

Oil Refineries and Civilian Infrastructure Targeted

The attacks have impacted strategic sites, including the oil refinery and desalination plant in the Sitra area. Dozens of people were injured, and critical infrastructure sustained damage.

U.S. Military Installations at Risk

Bahrain hosts the headquarters of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet, making it strategically sensitive. Reports suggest that Iran-backed strikes also targeted U.S. installations and associated areas.

Gulf States Express Concern

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations have condemned the attacks and issued security alerts. Experts warn that if the conflict continues, the entire Gulf region could be drawn into a wider war.

Bahrain Remains Committed to Peace and Stability

King Hamad reiterated that Bahrain will continue to follow a policy of peace, dialogue, and stability. He affirmed that the country will take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its citizens.
