Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Baba Bageshwar, head of the Bageshwar Dham, arrived at Gaya airport on a special flight. Amid tight security arrangements, he was taken directly to the Sambodhi Resort in Bodh Gaya, where he will stay for the next four days.

During the Pitru Paksha period, Baba Bageshwar conducted religious rituals such as Tripindi Shraddh, Pind Daan, and Tarpan. A limited number of devotees participated in these ceremonies and received his blessings.

During his stay, Baba Bageshwar made several significant and controversial statements. He asserted that India is already an undeclared Hindu nation and should be officially declared as one. To promote this message, he will undertake a foot pilgrimage from Delhi to Vrindavan from November 7 to 16, aiming to spread the message to people across the country.

He also emphasized the need for free access to basic services such as education and healthcare, stating, “Today, alcohol is cheap and medicines are expensive. Only if education and healthcare are free can India become a world leader.”

Commenting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reception in Nepal, Baba described it as unprecedented and a symbol of social harmony, stressing the importance of being alert to the nation’s situation.

Throughout his Gaya visit, Baba Bageshwar is highlighting the significance of Pitru Paksha and urging devotees to participate in religious rituals. His upcoming foot pilgrimage from November 7 to 16 will convey the message of a Hindu nation and Sanatan culture to the masses.
