“Minorities are completely safe in Bihar, opposition trying to spread fear, claims Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary; announces continuation of strict 3C (Crime, Corruption, Communalism) policy, calls Nitish model the foundation of state stability and development”

After the formation of the new government in Bihar, political rhetoric in the state has intensified. In this context, the Janata Dal (United) has issued a strong political message regarding the minority community. During a press conference held at the party office in Patna, the JDU leadership clarified that the minority community in the state has no reason to worry and is completely safe.

Addressing the press conference, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that the government is fully committed to maintaining law and order and social harmony in Bihar. He stated, “The minority community living in the state has no reason to fear. They are as safe and secure as the majority community.”

Government firm on 3C policy”

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government is strictly working on a policy of zero tolerance against Crime, Corruption, and Communalism (3C), and there will be no compromise on it.

He added, “The government led by Samrat Choudhary is also moving forward on the same path laid down earlier by Nitish Kumar. The policy of zero tolerance against communalism will continue.”

Allegations against the opposition

Vijay Kumar Chaudhary accused the opposition of misleading the minority community. He said that certain political parties are deliberately spreading rumours to create confusion in society.

He further said that false narratives were spread regarding issues like the Waqf amendment, while in reality, the government has not harmed the rights of any community.

Reference to development schemes

During the press conference, JDU leaders claimed that the state government has implemented several schemes for the social and economic development of the minority community.

They said that initiatives such as the Chief Minister’s Entrepreneur Scheme have brought positive changes in the fields of education, employment, and self-employment.

Clear political message

According to analysts, the statement by JDU is not just reassurance but also a political message aimed at maintaining its traditional social base and clarifying its role in the coalition government.

After the formation of the new government, while the power balance in Bihar has changed, JDU continues to project that the state’s governance structure remains rooted in Nitish Kumar’s policies and an “inclusive development model.”
