Bail to Siddique Kappan a source of relief: Popular Front

Patna(Press release/Insaf Times) Popular Front of India Chairman O M A Salam has said in a statement that the bail given to Siddique Kappan by the apex court was a relief to people everywhere who voiced for justice. “The judgement will reaffirm the trust in the judiciary and is a source of hope for political prisoners across the country”, he said. “The entire case was a fabricated one with stories made up to create an imaginary crime that never happened. UP Police tried to obstruct the bail just like they used innocent students and journalist Siddique Kappan as scapegoats in order to deflect public outrage from the brutal gang-rape and the atrocious way UP Police treated the family.” “Right-minded people in the country and outside have voiced against the unjust incarceration of Kappan and this is a moment of relief for them all. Let’s hope that this will end the ordeal of Kappan and his family soon and lead to the freedom of other innocents” said O M A Salam
