Aligarh Muslim University Releases Detailed Entrance Exam Schedule for 2026-27 Session; Tests to Be Held from April 12 to June 7

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has announced the schedule for entrance examinations for various courses for the academic session 2026-27. According to a notification issued by the university’s Controller of Examinations, these exams will be conducted not only at Aligarh but also at other designated test centers across the country.

As per the released schedule, the entrance tests will commence on April 12, 2026, and conclude on June 7, 2026. The university administration stated that during this period, exams for undergraduate, postgraduate, professional, and school-level courses will be conducted.

On April 12, 2026, entrance tests will be held for B.A. (Hons.) in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences and the Faculty of International Studies, as well as B.Sc. (Hons.) in the Faculty of Science & Life Sciences and B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture.

Subsequently, on April 19, 2026, exams for B.Com (Hons.), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and B.Tech/B.Arch courses will take place.

On April 26, 2026, entrance examinations will be conducted for university-run schools and other programs, including Senior Secondary School (Science Stream), Senior Secondary School (Humanities/Commerce Stream), Diploma in Engineering, Bridge Course, and B.A. LLB.

Postgraduate and professional course entrance tests are scheduled for June 7, 2026. On this day, exams will be held for various MBA programs, Master of Public Health (MPH), MSW, and B.Ed courses.

The university administration has further stated that the Guide to Admissions and application forms for the 2026-27 session will be available on the official website www.amucontrollerexams.com from February 1, 2026. Candidates are urged to regularly check the website for updates related to the admission process.

This notification was issued on January 24, 2026, and has been communicated to all faculties, departments, colleges, schools, and administrative units of the university.
