Initiative to Promote Young Muslim Leadership: AIMDC’s ‘40 Under 40 Leaders Initiative’, Application Deadline December 31, 2025

Young people aspiring to play a leadership role in the development of society and the nation have been presented with a significant opportunity. Under the ‘40 Under 40 Leaders Initiative’ run by the All India Muslim Development Council (AIMDC), the deadline for applications to select youth leaders at the state and district levels has been extended to December 31, 2025. Earlier, the last date for submission was October 31, 2025.

According to sources associated with the programme, the decision to extend the deadline was taken in view of the large number of applications received from different parts of the country and the growing interest among young people. With only a few days left in the application window, eligible candidates have been urged to complete the process in time.

The AIMDC initiative aims to empower young Muslim leaders aged between 14 and 40 years who are contributing positively to society or demonstrate leadership potential in fields such as education, business, social work, media, environment, and other sectors. The programme seeks to provide a national platform to grassroots-level youth and strengthen their leadership capabilities.

Under the initiative, selected participants will receive opportunities for leadership development, a deeper understanding of social issues, community engagement, networking, and mentorship. They will also get the chance to connect with like-minded young leaders and experienced mentors from across the country.

According to AIMDC, the ‘40 Under 40 Leaders Initiative’ is not merely a selection process but an effort to nurture future leaders committed to the values of social justice, equal opportunity, and inclusive development.

Interested candidates can apply through the website 40u40.org. Applicants have also been encouraged to follow the official social media platforms of the ‘40 Under 40 Leaders Initiative’ for the latest updates and information.
