Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid homage to Sardar Patel on his death anniversary and remembered his eternal services for India. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “I pay tribute to Sardar Patel on his death anniversary and remember his enduring service to India.” Especially through them to unite the country and accelerate all-round development. Patel, India’s first home minister, is credited with unifying the country by spearheading the merger of hundreds of states in the country. He died on 15 December in 1950.
