Campus Front of India launched a week-long campaign “Undeclared Emergency; Students for Liberty, Fraternity and Equality”

In a press conference held at Bangaluru. Campus Front National General secretary Ashwan Sadiq said The present political atmosphere is worsened with similar incidents of National Emergency’ in 1975-77 with no freedom of expression and constant constitutional rights violations. Dissenting against the undeclared emergency is necessary to protect the democratic secular India. This is also an attempt to revive the anti CAA protests that ignited the democrats across the nation. For the last several years under BJP rule in which RSS is the backseat driver of the government. They explicitly said that “vipaksh-mukt” (opposition-free) India is the goal, which is undemocratic and leading to dictatorship. As a concerned student organisation we can’t compromise with the dictatorship. As we had witnessed in the history of India, student uprising can only save our country and the constitution from the hindutva assault. RSS fascism is the real threat to the democratic and secular fabric of the country. Hence Campus Front of India will campaign for saving the Constitution and protecting the country. It will start from 25th June to 02 July with the motto ‘Undeclared Emergency, Students for Liberty, Fraternity and Equality’ in the 46th anniversary of 1975. We will organise nationwide programmes including students’ parliament, rights seminars, anti-CAA protesters’ get-together and fraternal clubs in state and district levels during the campaign period, he addedNational secretary Swadakath Sha, Karnataka State secretary Anees Kumbra , State commitee member Zubair Bengaluru took part in the press meet.
