Political unrest intensifies in Muzaffarpur’s Saraiya village after a heinous incident; Minority Welfare Committee Chairman Akhtarul Iman, along with a delegation, meets the victim’s family, assures justice, and demands immediate arrest of the accused.

In Muzaffarpur district’s Saraiya village, a tragic and sensational incident has triggered significant political and social unrest in the area. The Chairman of the Minority Welfare Committee, Akhtarul Iman, personally visited the village today and met the victim’s family, assuring them that justice would be delivered.

According to the report, a Muslim girl was subjected to a heinous crime and later murdered in the village, creating an atmosphere of tension and fear across the region. Following the incident, a delegation from the “Forum for Peace and Justice” also visited the village and held detailed discussions with the victim’s family.

The delegation assured the family that the matter would be raised at every level and every possible effort would be made to ensure justice. The family also expressed deep anguish and serious concerns regarding their safety.

Questions raised over administration, no arrests yet

Despite the registration of an FIR in the case, no arrests have been made so far, leading to growing public anger in the locality. The delegation questioned the delay and demanded immediate action.

Statement by Akhtarul Iman

Akhtarul Iman strongly condemned the incident, stating that such cases create an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in society. He alleged that the minority community in the area is living in fear following the incident.

He demanded that all named accused should be arrested immediately and the case should be tried in a fast-track court to ensure the strictest punishment. He also said that delays in justice send the wrong message to society.

Several political and social leaders present

Several senior political and social leaders were also present on the occasion, including former Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary, MLA Sarwar, MLA Ghulam Sarwar, MLA Murshid Alam, local MLA Shankar Yadav, Rana Ranjit, Engineer Aftab, Ashfaq Rahman, and former DIG Abdullah, among others.

All of them unanimously condemned the incident and demanded justice for the victim’s family.

Tension in the area and growing demand for justice

Following the incident, the situation remains tense in Saraiya village and surrounding areas. Locals say that fear will persist until the accused are arrested.
