Key SDPI Bihar Meeting in Purnea: Election Strategy Intensifies, Abdul Salam Appointed Bihar In-Charge

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) held a significant meeting of its Bihar State Working Committee in Purnea, presided over by the party’s National General Secretary, Mohammad Ilyas Thumbe.

The meeting involved in-depth discussions on preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Panchayat elections, strengthening the organization at the booth level, and ensuring active participation of party workers. The party leadership emphasized that grassroots organizational strength is crucial for achieving better electoral performance.

It was announced during the meeting that the National Executive had made an important organizational decision, appointing Abdul Salam as the new in-charge of Bihar. National General Secretary Mohammad Ilyas Thumbe formally handed over the responsibility to him. All members present welcomed the appointment and expressed hope that the party would gain a new direction under his leadership.

The meeting began with a welcome address by State General Secretary Mujammil Hasan Mazhari, followed by a preliminary statement from State President Dr. Aftab Alam.

In his address, Mohammad Ilyas Thumbe highlighted that SDPI works as the voice of the marginalized, underprivileged, and backward sections of society. He appealed to the party workers to reach out to the public with full dedication and honesty, understand their issues, and work tirelessly for their solutions. He further stressed that the strength of the party depends on the hard work and unity of its workers.

The meeting was attended by senior leaders and activists, including State General Secretary Manzar Alam, Mohammad Sohrab, and Mohammad Tariq.

The session concluded with a commitment to further strengthen the organization and ensure effective performance in the upcoming elections.
