A non-profit organization working in the fields of education, health, and legal aid, Grinspire Welfare Foundation, has announced that it will challenge a recent notice issued on 6 March 2026 by the National Medical Commission before the Supreme Court of India. The foundation says the notice has created serious difficulties and uncertainty for many students across the country.
According to the organization, the notice issued by the National Medical Commission has adversely affected a large number of students, prompting the foundation to seek judicial review and approach the Supreme Court for relief.
Advocate M. Adil Zafar, who is representing the foundation in the matter, stated that the issue raises important questions related to constitutional and administrative law, which require urgent attention from the Supreme Court.
He said, “The notice issued on 6 March 2026 has raised serious concerns regarding fairness, transparency, and the protection of students’ rights. Judicial intervention is necessary to ensure that regulatory actions do not cause any unjust harm to students.”
The Grinspire Welfare Foundation has also appealed to students and other individuals who have been affected by the notice to come forward. The organization believes that the information and experiences shared by affected students will help strengthen the legal challenge.
According to the foundation, the proposed petition will request the Supreme Court to issue appropriate directions to ensure the proper protection of students’ interests and rights.
The foundation also stated that students or other individuals affected by the notice can share their information or support the initiative by contacting +91-9718247570.
