New Leadership for SDPI in Bihar: N.U. Abdul Salam Appointed State In-Charge, Organisational Expansion Set to Accelerate

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has appointed N.U. Abdul Salam as the party’s Bihar in-charge, accelerating its strategy to strengthen and expand its organisational framework in the state. The decision has been welcomed by party office-bearers and workers across Bihar.

According to party sources, Abdul Salam has been entrusted with the key responsibility in view of his extensive political experience, organisational skills, and active commitment to issues of social justice. He has previously held various positions within the party and played a significant role in strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level.

State General Secretary Mujammil Hasan Mazhari congratulated Abdul Salam on his appointment and extended his best wishes. He expressed confidence that under Abdul Salam’s visionary leadership, the party would gain renewed direction and energy in Bihar and raise public interest issues more effectively.

Mazhari described the appointment as a reflection of the party leadership’s deep trust in Abdul Salam, adding that his experience and dedication would prove instrumental in expanding the organisation across the state.

Party leaders believe that with this new responsibility, the SDPI will intensify its engagement on issues of social justice, democratic values, minority rights, and the concerns of marginalised communities in Bihar. Efforts to strengthen the organisation at the district and block levels are also expected to gather momentum.

The strategic appointment is being viewed as significant in the context of the party’s upcoming political activities in the state.
