IIT Madras Launches Six Free AI Courses in Hindi! Major Opportunity for Students, Teachers, and Professionals Across the Country

IIT Madras has launched six fully Hindi-language AI courses through the digital learning platform SWAYAM Plus as part of its ‘AI for All’ initiative. The registration deadline is 26 January 2026. The initiative aims to eliminate language barriers and make AI education accessible to everyone.

According to IIT Madras experts, these courses do not require coding skills or prior technical knowledge. Only basic digital literacy and a willingness to learn are sufficient.

AI for Educators: Focused on integrating AI in classrooms and teaching practices.

AI in Physics: Practical applications of AI in the field of physics.

AI in Chemistry: Using machine learning in chemistry.

AI in Accounting: AI-based automation in finance and accounting.

Cricket Analytics with AI: Analysis of cricket data and performance using AI.

AI/ML using Python: Basics of AI and machine learning through Python.

Each course includes video lectures, real-world data, case studies, and practical exercises, which enhance learning while improving employability and practical skills.

Other Key Points

No prior knowledge required.

Study material spans 25–45 hours.

Free courses offer an option to earn a certificate through an online exam (certificate fee applies).

Interested candidates can register on the SWAYAM Plus website. Experts note that this initiative is a significant step toward inclusive technical education by overcoming language barriers.
