CUET-UG 2026 Applications Open for UG Admissions at MANUU; Last Date January 30

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) will conduct admissions to its undergraduate (UG) programmes for the academic session 2026–2027 through the Common University Entrance Test–Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2026.

The last date to apply for the examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been fixed as January 30, 2026.

In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the university is offering four-year undergraduate (Honours/Research) programmes with a dual-major option. The medium of instruction for these programmes will be Urdu, and admissions will be strictly based on CUET-UG 2026 scores.

Apart from the main campus in Hyderabad (Telangana), admissions will be offered at MANUU campuses located in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Darbhanga (Bihar), Falaknuma (Old City–Hyderabad), Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), and Nuh (Haryana). The UG programmes include BA (Honours/Research), BA Journalism and Mass Communication (Honours/Research), BCom (Honours/Research), BSc Physical Sciences, and BSc Life Sciences.

While filling the CUET-UG 2026 application form, candidates seeking admission to MANUU must compulsorily opt for the Urdu paper (Paper Code 113) along with the General Aptitude Test (Paper Code 501).

Through CUET, students can secure admission not only to MANUU but also to other central and participating universities across the country.

MANUU is known for providing a safe, disciplined, and student-friendly academic environment, especially for women students. The university offers separate and secure hostels, round-the-clock security, academic mentoring, a modern library, digital learning resources, and strong placement and career guidance facilities. Due to these facilities, a large number of female students from different states prefer MANUU for higher education.

Established in 1998 through an Act of Parliament, Maulana Azad National Urdu University aims to promote the Urdu language, provide modern education through the Urdu medium, encourage girls’ education, and integrate students from madrasa backgrounds into mainstream higher education. Over the years, MANUU has emerged as a key institution for inclusive and contemporary education through Urdu.
