Advocate Muhammad Adil Zafar, founder of Grinspire Welfare Foundation, has made a strong appeal to the Muslim community to promptly register their Waqf properties on the UMEED portal, following the Supreme Court’s rejection of petitions seeking an extension of the six-month registration deadline.
Speaking to Insaaf Times, Advocate Adil Zafar said, “Grinspire Foundation is working continuously from the grassroots to the court level to ensure that no genuine Waqf property is left out due to technical or procedural issues.”
He specifically urged mutawallis, committees, and community leaders to either complete the registration process immediately or, if facing any difficulties, to contact the Waqf Tribunal without delay. The foundation and its founder warned that only a few days remain and the final deadline is December 6.
Adil Zafar emphasized that active participation from the Muslim community is crucial to ensure that no Waqf property is left out of the registration process.
