A significant meeting of the All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaz, Bihar, was held at the Mahaz office in Phulwari Sharif. Dozens of senior district- and state-level office-bearers attended the meeting.
The meeting began with a proposal to extend best wishes to the newly formed Bihar government. Members highlighted that the Pasmanda community played a decisive role in the formation of the government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and expressed hope that the administration would now take concrete steps to address the community’s issues and needs with priority.
Key demands raised during the meeting included the need for strong policies on education, healthcare, employment, housing, and social security, along with meaningful representation in administrative and political bodies.
To strengthen the organization at the grassroots level, it was decided to enhance the activity and accountability of district-level workers, expand the membership drive, and ensure that organizational processes are transparent, systematic, and regular.
Concluding the meeting, the office-bearers asserted that the Mahaz would continue to amplify the voice of the Pasmanda community from the state level to the national stage.
