Prashant Kishor, founder of Jan Suraaj and one of India’s most prominent political strategists, held a massive roadshow on Sunday across Siwan, Saran, and Gopalganj in support of Jan Suraaj candidates. The event drew huge crowds, turning the streets into a sea of supporters waving flags and banners, chanting slogans like “Jan Suraaj Zindabad” and “Bihar Badlega, PK Aayega” (Bihar will change when PK arrives).
During the roadshow, Kishor launched a scathing attack on Bihar’s Health Minister Mangal Pandey, saying “I appeal to the people of Siwan — the minister who has completely destroyed Bihar’s health system must now be defeated. It’s the people’s responsibility.”
He also took aim at RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, remarking “Lalu ji now only does politics for his sons and daughters. He no longer cares about the poor, the youth, or the children of Bihar. But now, the people have a new alternative — Jan Suraaj.”
In a sharp jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kishor said “Modi ji is giving Bihar’s people cheap data, but what they really need is their sons — who were forced to migrate to Gujarat and Punjab in search of jobs.”
Highlighting Bihar’s long-standing struggles with backwardness, unemployment, and mass migration, Kishor said neither the NDA nor the Mahagathbandhan had been able to put the state on the path of genuine development “The aim of the Jan Suraaj movement is to return politics to the hands of the people, offer honest leadership, and make Bihar self-reliant in education, healthcare, and employment,” he asserted.
Throughout the roadshow, Kishor was greeted with showers of flower petals at every stop. The overwhelming participation of youth and women reflected a clear message — Jan Suraaj is rapidly emerging as a strong and credible alternative in Bihar’s political landscape.
