BJP releases first list of candidates, 71 names include senior and experienced leaders; Samrat Chaudhary to contest from Tarapur, Rama Devi from Arrai

Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its first list of candidates. The list includes a total of 71 names, featuring several senior and prominent leaders of the party. Most notably, the current Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, has been given the ticket to contest from the Tarapur constituency.

Several key leaders have been fielded from their current or new constituencies. Former Deputy CM Renu Devi will contest from Betia, Minister Mangal Pandey from Siwan, Minister Nitin Naveen from Bankipur, and Sanjeev Chaurasia from Digha. Meanwhile, Sanjay Sarawagi will contest from Darbhanga, and Neeraj Kumar Bablu from Chhatapur.
