Tejashwi Yadav’s Historic Announcement: Every Family to Get Government Job, Bihar to Witness a Job Renaissance

Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav made a historic announcement at a press conference in Patna today. He stated that if his government comes to power, every family in Bihar will be provided with a government job. To achieve this, a special legislation will be drafted within 20 days, and every household will receive employment within 20 months.

Tejashwi Yadav said, “For the past 20 years, this government has failed to provide jobs and employment. Once our government is formed, we will ensure that every family gets a job. During my 17-month tenure as Deputy Chief Minister, we provided over 5 lakh jobs; now, within 20 months, we will ensure employment reaches every household.” He described the move as a major step toward establishing economic justice in Bihar.

Targeting the double-engine government, the Opposition leader said that it is only promising unemployment allowances, not actual jobs. He assured that his government would ensure government jobs, permanent housing, affordable ration, and piped water in every home.

Tejashwi Yadav has named this initiative “JASHN OF BIHAR (JOB)”, meaning “Celebration of Bihar – Jobs”. He added, “We will demonstrate a model government for the people. My duty is Bihar, and my faith is being a Bihari.”

The press conference was attended by senior leaders, including State President Mangani Lal Mandal, National General Secretary Abdul Bari Siddiqui, former Minister Alok Kumar Mehta, Shivchandra Ram, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav, State Spokesperson Ejaz Ahmed Shahid, and other dignitaries.

Meanwhile, former Bihar Minister and JD(U) leader Lakshmeshwar Rai, President of JD(U)’s Extremely Backward Cell, joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He said that JD(U) has strayed from the path of social justice and is committing injustices against the extremely backward communities.

Tejashwi Yadav’s historic announcement has sparked a new debate in Bihar politics and is expected to have a significant impact on the upcoming Assembly elections.
