Husanpur MLA and Jan Shakti Janata Dal (JJD) president Tej Pratap Yadav has publicly advised his younger brother and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Speaking on the occasion of Dussehra, Tej Pratap said Tejashwi should understand who is Ram and who is Lakshman, and how long he will continue making decisions influenced by Jaichands.

Tej Pratap told reporters, “As a younger brother, he should understand who is Ram and who is Lakshman. He should pay attention to everything and respect his elder brother. It’s possible that he is following what Jaichand-type people are saying. In such a situation, I would advise him to use his intellect and judgment.”

When asked about Tejashwi’s interview claim that Tej Pratap often faced candidates being fielded against his nominees during elections, he responded, “Everyone knows what happened with me in 2020. Let those who are jealous continue to be so. We are no longer in the RJD; we have to move forward.”

On JJD’s upcoming election strategy, Tej Pratap said discussions are ongoing with alliance partner parties, and a final decision regarding seat distribution will be taken soon.

He also extended greetings to the nation on Dussehra, Vijayadashami, Gandhi Jayanti, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, emphasizing that he is a follower of Gandhian principles. On the centenary of the RSS, he remarked, “RSS has not contributed to the country’s independence.”

This public statement by Tej Pratap adds to the political suspense surrounding his relationship with Tejashwi Yadav and the upcoming election strategies.
