Insaaf Times Desk

A shocking case related to the bond between a sister-in-law and her brother’s wife has surfaced in Jabalpur. Here, a woman fell in love with her own sister-in-law and ran away, leaving behind her husband and family. The husband lodged a missing complaint for his wife, after which police investigation revealed romantic chats between the two women.

According to reports, Ashutosh, a resident of Amarpatan, had married Sandhya in a love marriage seven years ago. The couple also has a five-year-old son. For their child’s education, the family shifted to Jabalpur some time ago. During this period, Ashutosh’s cousin Mansi (Sandhya’s sister-in-law) frequently visited their home. With regular conversations and time spent together, Sandhya and Mansi grew closer.

On August 12, Sandhya suddenly went missing from home. She was found the next day at Jabalpur railway station and stayed with her husband and son for a few days. However, on August 22, she left home again, leaving her mobile phone behind, and never returned.

Later, when Ashutosh checked his wife’s phone, he was stunned to find romantic chats between his wife and Mansi. He then filed an FIR at Ghamapur police station.

ASP Suryakant Sharma said the woman had left her mobile phone at home, making it difficult to trace her location. However, police have gathered some technical evidence and are conducting searches to trace the duo.

The case has become a major talking point in the area.
