After assuming charge as the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Nabeen arrived in Bihar for the first time. On this occasion, a grand felicitation ceremony was organized in his honour at Bapu Auditorium in the state capital, Patna. Party workers and senior leaders from various districts of Bihar participated in the programme.
As Nitin Nabeen reached the auditorium, he was welcomed with loud applause and slogans by party workers. He appeared emotional during the event. Addressing the gathering, he urged party workers to maintain patience and consistency in politics. He said there is no place for shortcuts in politics, as it is a long process that requires continuous struggle and dedication.
Despite the ongoing session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, several senior party leaders attended the programme. BJP Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, state BJP president Sanjay Saraogi, and several other leaders were present on the dais. More than 5,000 party workers attended the event at Bapu Auditorium.
In his speech, the National President referred to the upcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, Telangana, and Kerala, and called upon party workers to strengthen the organization. He said that achieving the party’s goals does not depend on one individual attaining a position; rather, every worker must understand and shoulder their responsibility.
Nitin Nabeen said that when every worker considers himself or herself a representative of the party, only then will Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision be realized.
The National President also spoke about party discipline and the organizational structure of the BJP. He said that hard work is never ignored in the BJP and that the organization closely monitors the role and performance of workers at every level. He added that the BJP is the only party where workers can rise from the booth level to the top leadership through dedication and commitment.
Nitin Nabeen’s first visit to Bihar as National President is being seen as a signal of the party’s organizational expansion and preparations for the upcoming elections. The Patna programme provided the BJP with an opportunity to unite its cadre and clearly outline its future strategy.
