Political Blow from Bhojpur: PK Launches Sharp Attacks on Sanjay Jaiswal, Modi, and Tejashwi

At the ‘Bihar Badlav Jan Sabha’ held on Saturday in the Agiaon assembly constituency of Bhojpur district, Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor (PK) launched a strong attack on BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Speaking to journalists after the rally at the Charpokhari block office grounds, PK said that Sanjay Jaiswal’s “troubles are near” and accused him of trying to stay in the limelight through “absurd statements.”

PK remarked, “When a jackal is about to die, it runs toward the city. Sanjay Jaiswal is in the same situation. He is making noise now but will calm down soon. Not even in seven lifetimes can he send me to jail. His party rules both Bihar and Delhi—let them do whatever they want. Fake billing of vehicles of Bettiah Municipal Corporation happens at his petrol pumps, and complaints have already been lodged. If I am wrong, file a case and put me in jail.”

Targeting Prime Minister Modi’s recent visit to Purnia, PK said that billions of public funds are wasted during such trips. “When the PM comes, it is the poor people who bear the cost. Government vehicles, employees, and even teachers are deployed to gather crowds. The public gains nothing, while the BJP pats itself on the back.”

Commenting on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s ‘Bihar Adhikar Yatra,’ PK said, “At least it’s good that Tejashwi is coming out of his house. The public will get to see him, and that is a positive thing.”

The controversy intensified after Sanjay Jaiswal recently accused PK of taking funds from liquor companies and colluding with Lalu Prasad Yadav to split votes. Jaiswal has sent a legal notice demanding either proof of the allegations or a public apology.

Prashant Kishor has been touring districts for months under the ‘Bihar Badlav Yatra,’ highlighting unemployment, corruption, and the deteriorating state of education and healthcare as key electoral issues. PK emphasized that his campaign is not against any individual or party but aims to bring “systemic change in the entire political framework.”
