Nationwide Social Workers to Gather in Lucknow, AMP National NGO Conference Scheduled for 15-16 November! Shared Roadmap to Focus on Education, Employment, and Social Development

Over a thousand social workers, educators, and representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from across India are set to gather in Lucknow this November. The AMP National NGO Conference 2025 will be held on 15th and 16th November at the Islamic Centre of India, Lucknow, organized jointly by the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) and the Islamic Centre of India.

The national conference was officially announced at a press conference held on Friday at the Islamic Centre. The organizing committee stated that the event aims to bring together organizations working in education, employment, and social empowerment and to create a shared roadmap for development.

Historic Initiative to Unite NGOs Nationwide
Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli, Chairman of the Islamic Centre of India and head of the Conference Reception Committee, said the conference is a historic initiative to bring NGOs and social workers from across the country onto a single platform.
He stated, “This program will focus on ways to accelerate education and social development. The Islamic Centre of India is proud to host this national event.”

Focus on Education and Empowerment
AMP President Aamir Idrisi emphasized that the conference aims to develop a collective roadmap for 130 minority districts across India.
He said, “AMP has been working in the fields of education, employment, and empowerment for the past 17 years. Now, our goal is to strengthen these efforts further by collaborating with NGOs across the country.”

Nationwide Preparations Underway
Dr. Abdul Ahad, Director of Pulse Hospital, Lucknow, and head of the Conference Organizing Committee, noted the enthusiasm building across the country for the conference.
He said, “Our team is visiting several cities to connect with social workers and youth. The response has been highly positive and encouraging. This collective effort will lay a strong foundation for social development.”
He further appealed to all NGOs, school administrators, teachers, and youth leaders to participate and be part of this movement for education and social reform.

Key Themes: Education Reform, Women’s Empowerment, and NGO Capacity Building
Mujtaba Khan, President of Parwaz Foundation and member of the Organizing Committee, highlighted that the conference will feature in-depth discussions on education reform, women’s empowerment, economic development, NGO capacity building, and AMP’s 25-year roadmap.
He said, “This conference offers an opportunity to chart a collective direction for the betterment of society.”

The two-day conference will include multiple sessions, expert panels, and regional discussions, bringing together educators, policymakers, and NGO representatives from across the country.
