All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) General Secretary Maulana Muhammad Fazl-ur-Rahim Mujaddidi has appealed to Muslims across the country to urgently register their Waqf properties on the government’s ‘Umeed’ portal. He warned that the deadline for uploading properties is nearing, and failure to do so on time could put the security of these Waqf assets at serious risk.
Maulana Mujaddidi clarified that the current registration deadline is December 5, 2025. AIMPLB is making efforts at all levels to extend the deadline, but no changes have been made so far. He noted that only one week remains, and registration rates have been extremely low.
He urged Muslims nationwide to prioritize the registration of their Waqf properties on the ‘Umeed’ portal immediately. Maulana Mujaddidi asked them to postpone other activities and actively participate in this important task. He also emphasized the need for proper execution of this process at district, block, and panchayat levels.
He said, “It is our responsibility to protect the properties donated by our ancestors. Ignoring their importance can result in significant loss. Everyone must prioritize this work and pray that Allah grants us the strength and courage to safeguard Waqf properties and thwart those with ill intentions.”
This appeal was officially released by the Board’s Office Secretary, Dr. Muhammad Wakaruddin Latifi.
AIMPLB has issued a final warning to Muslims to register their Waqf properties on the ‘Umeed’ portal and stressed the urgent need to treat this task as a top priority.
