Iran’s Statement on Attacks in Saudi Arabia
Iranian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alireza Enayati, stated that Tehran has no involvement in any attacks on Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure. He clarified that Iran is only targeting U.S. and Israeli military facilities.
Missile Strike on Tel Aviv
For the first time, Iran tested the Sejjil ballistic missile, a solid-fuel missile capable of reaching Tel Aviv in approximately seven minutes. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported that the missile targeted strategic Israeli military sites.
Damage in Tel Aviv
Israeli police released CCTV footage showing the missile hitting a city street. Officials reported at least three people injured and multiple vehicles destroyed.
Drone Attack in Iraq
Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah carried out a drone strike near Baghdad Airport targeting a U.S. Victory Base. This attack is considered the first successful use of FPV drone technology in the region.
Attacks on Saudi Oil Facilities
Last week, the Ras Tanura refinery was temporarily shut down after a fire caused by drone debris. Attacks were also reported in the Shaybah oil field. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense has yet to attribute responsibility for any of these attacks.
